Nguyen Duc Anh is a PhD Candidate at the Australian National University (ANU) College of Law, Governance and Policy, funded by the Australian Government Research Training Program. His research examines how digital trade rules in Free Trade Agreements shape the regulatory autonomy of developing countries, with a particular focus on data protection and cross-border data flow commitments. Before joining ANU, he was a Lecturer at International Law Faculty, University of Law, ietnam National University, Hanoi. His broader research interests include international trade law, data governance, Southeast Asian legal studies.
