Pierre van der Eng is Associate Professor and Reader in International Business and Business History. His areas of research specialisation include the business and economic history of Indonesia. Among other topics, he has published on long-term economic growth, population growth, food supply and famine, mining, Chinese entrepreneurship and the development of the stock exchange in Indonesia.
